After receiving his Master’s Degree in Accounting and passing the CPA exam in Illinois, Duane chose the Corporate Controller career path, which included Officer of an 18-state company traded on the American Stock Exchange. Prior to founding his own tax and accounting firm, he functioned as Managing Director of 120 employees for one corporation, responsible for every aspect of the business operations, from profits and procedures to the highest standards of service and quality.

For fifteen years Duane has been self-employed as an accounting/tax professional. The majority of his services relate to tax return preparation that explains his company’s motto “We Solve Tax Problems”. In 2001, Familytax was one of two offices selected by the IRS to film six videos promoting e-filing; these appeared nationally. As an Enrolled Agent, Duane is a tax master with a federal license to represent taxpayers in every state. His firm specializes in tax preparation and accounting for families and businesses. Services include The Tax School and living trusts as advisor through The Estate Plan.

Duane and his wife Linda have lived in Deerfield Beach, Florida, for over 20 years where he is an active participant at the local health club, Deerfield Beach Chamber of Commerce, and a variety of tax and accounting organizations.
